Sharon Cohan

Sharon Cohan, LCSW, has worked as an oncology social worker for over 30 years. For the past 20 years, she has had the privilege of working for Blood Cancer United as an Informational Specialist and a Patients Service Manager, covering the state of Florida. Prior to joining Blood Cancer United, Sharon worked in adult and pediatric oncology units, providing supportive counseling. She has published articles on coping with cancer and has presented research on support for young adult cancer survivors at the AOSW conference. She is a certified bereavement counselor, receiving her Master of Social Work from Barry University in Miami, US.
